A Lost Tooth!

 

Vinny's been wiggling that loose tooth for a while now. In fact, he's got a couple of loose ones and 2 permanent teeth on the bottom that are in and ready to move forward. The tooth was so loose today that we were sure it would come out. And, it did! He was at dinner, telling a story to a friend, and it popped out. We couldn't find it at first, but it had landed on his plate!

 While all the kids were playing together, they came traipsing back inside, saying that they were going to watch Vinny put the tooth under his pillow. After night prayers, he made calls to Grandma & Grandpa and Nonna & Pop to share the news.

I wonder what will be under his pillow in the morning?!

Tiny Dancer

 

Emily's cute little dance class! She's doing a ballet/tap combo. They had a parent viewing class this week, so we got to go in and watch. The owner of the studio is her teacher, and she is so good. She teaches them manners and respect along the way. They pray at the beginning and they dance for Jesus in freestyle at the end of class to "This Little Light of Mine."

Blueberry Picking!

Summer Activities . . .

at least,  so far.  :)

First, Ashley got to go to Horse Camp! She got to do crafts, tacking up, leading the horse, walking, doing an obstacle course and other things. She even got a green ribbon at the horse show at the end of the week.

 Then, we had a backyard campout. Altoughh, we did not end up sleeping overnight -- too much excitement to actually fall asleep. But, we had hot dogs, smores, played baseball, and enjoyed the outside. This was practice for actually camping someday.  ;)

 And, we're doing gymnastics once a week. They loved it! They did somersaults on the cheese wedge mat, learned cartwheels. The girls went on the balance beam and the boys on the parallel bars and horse. And, of course, the crowning moment when they got to jump into the foam pit! Vinny did a canon ball in!

 And, we went to Vacation Bible School -- where kids STAND STRONG for God. They had great fun -- every day there were crafts, snacks, movies, games, and skits. And, they learned lots of songs and hand motions. Ashley told me this year, "I finally started dancing!" We have the CD, so the fun will continue all summer long!
