Happy 5th Birthday!

I think I've been in denial that Ashley has turned 5 years old, and that's why it's taken me awhile to get these pictures up here. We can't believe it!

Before we get to the festivities, here's a little Ashley trip down memory lane . . .

We've started alternating friend birthday parties and family birthday parties, so this year was just a family party. First, we ate of course.

Then it was time to count the cupcakes. Or perhaps it was more of a "I want that one and that one and that one . . . "

Then, we sang Happy Birthday (notice the hair pulled back) and ate said cupcakes.

Next, on to the presents! "VINNY, do you want to help me open my presents?!"

These roller skates were a big hit! In fact, for the first week, she would put them on as soon as she came downstairs in the morning and wear them to the breakfast table.

Even Cousin Michael, all the way from New York CITY, was here and got to celebrate! We had big fun while he was here.

And, of course, we had to have the traditional chocolate chip pancakes breakfast on Ashley's REAL birthday. ;) Happy Birthday, Ashley! We love you and are so proud of how much you've grown!
