Winter Recap

Well, since it's spring now (at least in some states), I figured I should go ahead and finish posting pictures from the wintertime. So, enjoy!

Enjoying the snow with Uncle Brian

Christmas carolling at an Assisted Living facility with some other families. Note that Ashley & Vinny are sitting in the front. They don't actually sing.

Christmas Eve with Nonna & Pop and Grandma & Grandpa

Opening presents with Aunt Mechelle.

Making a bad face with Aunt Regina. ;)

Here are Ashley & Vinny riding their new scooters. This was a big deal that Vinny was actually riding his. He doesn't like wearing the helmet because it's "TOO TIGHT!" I don't think he's ridden the scooter since this picture . . .

We went to the March for Life in Atlanta in January. It was so moving. It's a silent walk and people pray for the protection of life at all stages.

It was a little cold that day! Emily finally fell asleep while we were waiting for the walk to begin.

We took a trip to go visit Auntie Amy in Columbia one weekend. We went to a puppet show called "The Snow Queen."
We also spent some time playing outside in the "horseshoe" greens on campus.

This was the day Emily took her first steps!!!

Amy asked if we wanted to take a family picture in front of the library. This is how we ended up. Nick says, "as it should be!"

In February, Nonna & Pop took us to Callaway Gardens. This was great fun and it was like spring on this day!

They loved the Pioneer Log Cabin (from the 1830's!) and pretended it was their house. They kept running in and out and into the "backyard". I took some photos in black and white for effect. ;)

We also went to the Butterfly Conservatory at the Gardens, which was very cool. Well, actually it was sweltering in there -- they keep the humidity and temperature VERY high!

We even played at one of the beaches there, because it was so warm. Emily loved the sand and sticking her toes in the COLD water! She would squeal when the water lapped up on her feet.

Now, viva Spring!

I hope to post pics of Ashley's bday soon, too. ;)

Love the update, especially since we saw so much less of you all this past winter! I like the black and white effect on the Callaway pictures.
