The Beginnings of Spring

We tried some solid foods recently, that is rice cereal & mashed banana, without much success at first. Vinny was gagging somewhat & making bad faces, so we've been waiting a couple of weeks and are about to try again. However, since he can now sit up, Vinny can join us at the dinner table, which is quite pleasant. Usually. I guess even Italians can only sit for so long at the table. Especially when it's almost bedtime.

Another time we tried just a piece of banana (pushed to the corner of the tray). Ashley concluded, "I guess he just wants his thumb for lunch."
Here's Ashley coloring on her new easel. A big hit! So was coloring on the newly painted walls and glass door. Whoops! Guess Mom shouldn't have been on the phone so long! Mommy's friends from college also came into town for a whirlwind good time (especially after the kids went to bed :) ). Aunt Lori, are you making fun of me?
