Both of our children have successfully been commercialized, but at least Dora the Explorer & Thomas the Tank Engine are fairly tame. :)
Ashley is also wearing her new hat & mittens, so I guess we could call her Winterland Dora. Here we are outside, enjoying the fair weather. Vinny is just minding his own business, by the way.
Between this and the bucket incident, the kid might end up with a complex, or at least a bruised noggin.
Sometimes we set the alarm for Ashley when she takes a nap so she knows when she can come out, especially if it appears she might not actually fall asleep. So, when she came out the other day, this is what I found after “nap”time – we realized later that she had switched out some of the clothing in the other drawers!

Nonna & Pop came over for dinner recently, and Nonna brought some chocolate pudding. How can a kid resist dessert?
(Vinny's shirt says "Peanut" by the way. Thanks, Auntie Amy for keeping our kid dressed in style!)
Grandpa & Ashley have been growing “sweet potato fries” in the backyard at Grandma & Grandpa’s house. Ashley gets to water them when she goes to visit. And, finally!, it was time to harvest! She was quite excited. They also planted some pumpkin seeds, which never really took (partly due to some hungry bunnies that live in nearby woods.) So, it looks like the pumpkin stork will have to deliver some to the garden when it gets closer to Halloween. :)
Here's to the rest of a great Fall!
