A New Soul for Christ

Emily was baptized this past weekend, and it was a beautiful ceremony and a great party afterward! We had friends and family from near and far celebrate with us here. And, I know that many more were with us in their hearts!

Emily's gown was made by my great grandmother (Anna), who everyone called Nana. It was also worn by my sister and I and Ashley & Vinny.






Fr. Larry, our pastor, presided over the ceremony. He gave a great "homily" about the existence of sin, the need for a deep faith, and he exhorted us, as parents and the rest of the church community, to bring our children up in the Faith.

Of course, we had lots of "Baby Hogs" in town to spoil Emily. ;)

And, Ashley and Vinny loved playing with their big Cousins Mallory & Delilah.
