Then, Nonna invited us to a Japanese Tea. Vinny had lots of fun with all the ladies. That morning, upon hearing that he would be able to go, said, "Probably at tea party . . . . CAKE!"
We're happy to share the "Joy of Ashley, Vinny, Emily, & Catherine " with all of our friends and family as they grow!

Happy Mother's Day!
We had a busy weekend this weekend. First we walked in the Walk for Life, in support of the Hope Center. We received $400 in sponsorships! Thank you!!! And, the Walk brought in over $14,000. It was really fun to be there on such a beautiful morning, and I even made it the whole 2 miles without eating a snack!

Then, today we celebrated at our house. The husbands/fathers cooked a great meal with excellent dessert and cleaned up the kitchen!

This has been the best mother's day yet. I'm so grateful to have Ashley, Vinny & Emily in my life. Every day, they give me opportunities to smile, laugh, and shout (working on that last one). I am continually amazed at their developments and achievements, big and small, and it's even wilder to think about how they might be in 5, 10, or more years. Having children makes you stretch and give in ways you didn't know even existed. It makes me even more grateful for what my mom (and her mom and on up the family tree) have done for me and our whole family.
So, Happy Mother's Day and thank you to ALL mothers . . . mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, stepmothers, foster mothers, adoptive mothers, mother superiors, aunts, aunties, our Blessed Mother, and all others!
