Spring Sports Season

Well, this is the first year we've had multiple children in multiple activities. Phew! And, this is just the beginning!! We joined the soccer league again, which meets every Thursday for 8 weeks - it was Ashley's 2nd time and Vinny's 1st time. Vinny really liked it and participated every time. [Not. I don't think he's actually touched the soccer ball with his foot the entire time.]

He will actually touch the parachute and chase after bubbles though:

Ashley says she doesn't like soccer either, because "all that running makes me really tired." Too bad, kids! You'll play outside and run around and you're going to like it!!


Vinny's team plays for a shorter amount of time because they're so young, so after that we head over to Ashley's part of the field, where Emily likes to join in the fun.

She especially likes to chase after them during Red Light, Green Light.

And, we also have Swimming Lessons for the 2 big ones on Monday's. Vinny has really enjoyed this activity as well. [Not.] He spent most of the first month sitting on the edge of the pool in pure terror. But, he is slowly but surely warming up. And, he actually does come out every time so invigorated and talkative.
Ashley is enjoying herself and is learning a lot of the basics. This must be a prime age. She is progressing in the program, doing bobs, glides, kicking on her back with alligator arms, frog kicks . . . her favorite part is at the end when they get to jump in a few times:


And, here are the three munchkins, walking out of the pool one Monday. Is it okay to say that they're my favorite kids in the whole world? ;)
