Then, on Father's Day, we made Peanut Blossoms for Daddy. (Peanut butter cookies with Hershey kisses on top. They're really terrible.) Ashley did a great job unwrapping the kisses. She didn't even eat any after I told her not to -- which is more than I can say for myself. These cookies were not exactly a surprise, however, since Ashley kept telling Nick, "We're making secret cookies for you, Daddy!"
Nick also spent some one-on-one time with Vinny on Father's Day, showing him how to take apart any available electronic device that needs fixing. Vinny was quite interested.
Both of our families came to celebrate together for dinner that night. We had a great day & we wish our fathers & all fathers a beautiful day!
